Grogan Forest Custom Swimming Pool Construction Schedule - The Woodlands, TXDAY 1 - April 24thBroke ground on a smaller custom pool in The Woodlands, TX. The pool design includes a mutli-level raised beam with three sheer decents. It has a 7' round spa, raised 6", with seven spa jets. The rest of the details to follow.....
Houston Diggers did such a great job in digging the Morgans pool, Spring Pools was able to have the steel company start and finish installing the rebar bar in the pool on the same day as well.
The plumber installed the stub plumbing. By the end of the day we're ready to gunite the pool.
DAY 2 - April 25th (Rain Delay)DAY 3 - April 26th (Sunday)DAY 4 - April 27thThe pool was set in gunite today. Just beating the rain......(again) DAY 5 - April 28th (Rain Delay)DAY 6 - April 29thThe plumbing of the pool was started and completed today. The pool was completely full from the rain yesterday. The water had to be pumped out to a point just below the return lines, so it wouldn't flood the trenches when dug by the plumber.
DAY 7 - April 30thThe electrictian trenched and installed the electrical system for the pool. Trench inspection is called in.
DAY 8 - May 1stSpring Pools cooridnates all of The Woodlands required inspections. After the trench inspection is passed, the trenches are backfilled and the site is cleaned.
DAY 9 & 10 - May 2nd & 3rd (SAT -SUN)No Construction Scheduled DAY 11 - May 4thThe tile and coping phase of the pool project is started today. The customer selected Classico Flagstone for their coping, raised beam and waterline. The flagstone is precisley cut so the motar joints are tight and clean. This gives the pool an elegant classic look.
DAY 12 - May 5thTile and coping work continues. Notice the hand chipped edges on the Flagstone coping. The craftsmanship Spring Pools incorporates into all of our custom swimming pools gives our customers the top quality they are looking for.
DAY 13 - May 6thThe sheer descents are placed within the flagstone on the raised beams. The remaining flagstone is put in place. The tile and coping phase of the pool construction project is complete.
DAY 14 - May 7thThe deck phase of the pool construction projects begins. The deck is staked out and form boards are set into place. The ground is leveled and compacted. Steel is laid. Once the custom is satisfied with the layout the concrete is ordered.
DAY 15 - May 8thThe deck is poured today. The Morgan's selected to have a pea gravel deck around their swimming pool. Pea gravel decking is virtually maintenance free, and when its done right, and Spring Pools does it right, it is not hard on the feet. It is a very cost effective, affordable deck choice.
DAY 16 & 17 - May 9th & 10th (SAT - SUN)No work scheduled - Happy Mother's Day DAY 18 - May 11thPool is cleaned out and prepped for Pebble Tec. DAY 19 - May 12thTahoe Blue Pebble Tec is applied to the Morgan's Pool.
DAY 20 - May 13thThe Pebble Tec is acid washed. This cleans the concrete film off of the aggregate. Then the pool is filled with water
The water is a little murky, but Spring Pools will have it chrystal clear within a few days. Construction is Finished!
DAY 21 - May 14thPool Equipment is started up. Chemicals are added to the water. Pool School set for this weekend. 30 Days Later......Another Custom Built Inground Gunite Swimming Pool Construction Project Completed by the Contractors at Spring Pools.
