Spring Trails Custom Swimming Pool Construction Schedule - Spring, TX

DAY 1 - February 16th  EXCAVATION, STEEL & STUB PLUMBING

Finally a break in the weather to start Spring Pools first swimming pool for the year.  A geometeric pool with a raised beam and two 3' sheer descents.  The pool will also have a round spa raised 6" above a pea gravel deck.

The pool excavation was finished by early afternoon, so we were able to have the steel and stub plumbing done today as well.

DAY 2 - February 17th  GUNITE

Spring Pools has some of the best swimming pool sub-contractors in the business.  Not just for the quality work they do, but their dependabilty and flexiblity.  Modern Method was able to push up their scheduled time and start a half day early.  A pool this size takes six to seven hours to put into gunite.  Once started, you can't stop until its finished.

DAY 3 - February 18th - PLUMBING

The trenches are dug...

the pipe is laid, and the equipment installed.

DAY 4 - February 19th  ELECTRICAL

An EasyTouch automated wireless controls and panel are installed.  When an existing electric panel has no room for new breakers for the pool, a sub-panel must be installed.

DAY 5 - February 20th  CLEAN UP

The extra gunite (rebound) is removed from the site.  The form boards are removed from the pool and hauled off.

DAY 6 - February 21st  SUNDAY

No work scheduled.

DAY 7 - February 22nd  TILE & COPING

For the coping, the homeowners chose Forida "Gray Stone" bullnose brick.  The Cadillac of pool brick coping.  The tile around the spa, on the raised beam, and for the waterline of the pool is Master Tiles "Nepal" series tile.  This together with a dark tan grout, is a beautiful combination of materials.

DAY 8 - February 23rd 

No Work due to Rain and Snow.

DAY 9 - Februrary  TILE & COPING

Finished the tile and coping around the pool.

DAY 10 - February 25  DECKING

The deck crew laid out the forms of the deck for the customers review.  Minor changes and adjustments will be made the day we pour concrete.

DAY 11 - February 26th  DECKING

The concrete pour was postoned due to the weather.

DAY 12 & 13 - February 27th & 28th  (Saturday & Sunday)

No work scheduled.

DAY 14 - March 1st  DECKING

Deck was delayed again due to bad weather!

DAY 15 - March 2nd  DECKING

Was finally able to finish the deck today!

DAY 16 - March 3rd  PLASTER

Today we prepared the pool for plaster.  The trim tile was installed and the pool cleaned.

DAY 17 - March 4th  PLASTER

The pool is plaster with two coats of white plaster.  Then fill with water.

DAY 18 - March 5th  FINISH CONSTRUCTION

The pool continues to fill with water.  The backyard is cleaned up and graded for sod.

Once the pool is full, Spring Pools does an equipment startup and setups up Pool School.

SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION IS FINISHED!!
