Custom Swimming Pool Construction Schedule - The Woodlands, TX

DAY 1 - June 10th

Broke ground on a freeform custom inground gunite pool in The Woodlands, TX. The pool design includes a beach entry top with flagstone and a three and a half ton moss rock waterfall with weepers. The swimming pool also will have a custom kidney shaped spa, raised 18", with seven spa jets. The rest of the details to follow.....

DAY 2 - June 11th

Finish installing the steel and stub plumbing by noon. Modern Method Gunite started and finished by late afternoon.

DAY 3 - June 12th

The customer has an energy efficient Pentair varible speed pump installed for the pool and spa. This allows for lower flow rate for filtrating the pool, while also allowing for a higher flow rate when operating the spa. This along with a Pentair cartridge filter and 400,000 btu heater is standard equipment with Spring Pools. The plumber starts on day 3 with temperatures reaching near 100 degrees. Progress is slowed, but will still be completed in two days.

DAY 4 - June 13th

Plumbing finished.

DAY 5 - June 14th

Sunday - No Work Scheduled

 

DAY 6 - June 15th

Electrical work is completed. Trenches are inspected and passed by Nesbit Inspections.

DAY 7 - June 16th

Trenches are backfilled. Tile and Coping work is started. The coping around the pool is Oklahoma flagstone. The customer chose a 1" ceramic mosiac tile for the waterline of the pool.

DAY 8 - June 17th

Tile and Coping continues. Moss rock waterfall is started.

DAY 9 - June 18th

The Tile, Coping and Rock work is finished. The customer requested some slight modifications to the amount of rock vs tile and coping to the pool. There was more tile and coping and less rock when it was all said and done. The beach entry will have an sleeve in the flagstone for an umbrella.

DAY 10 - June 19th

Made some changes to the deck layout. Enlarged the Pergola area, and curved the steps more. No other work scheduled.

DAY 11, 12 & 13 - June 20th, 21st, & 22nd

No Work Scheduled

 

DAY 14 - June 23rd

Finished forming up deck and installing drains. There will be four steps from the covered patio area down to the main deck. The steps will be trimmed in flagstone. The deck will be of pea gravel and have flagstone inlays.

DAY 15 - June 24th

No Work Schedule - Concrete Scheduled for Tomorrow

DAY 16 - June 25th

Last minute changes to deck. Customer decided to have Spring Pools build the retaining wall for the landscaping beds between the house and pool. Poured concrete and floated deck. Pea gravel deck, with flagstone inlays.

DAY 17 - June 26th

The Teels are having Pebble Tec installed as the lining for their pool. Spring Pools contracts with Modern Method to install Pebble Tec and Pebble Sheen. Today the pool is being prepped for Caribbean Blue Pebble Tec.

DAY 18 - June 27th

Pebble Tec is applied. It needs to harden before it can be acid washed.

DAY 19 - June 28th

Sunday. No worked scheduled.

 

DAY 20 - June 29th

Acid washed the Pebble Tec. Began filling the pool.

 

DAY 21 - June 30th

Finished filling the swimming pool with water. Pool Start Up Begins..... Time to Set Up Pool School!!!
